First off, yes I have used search button. Second I didn't see anything useful out of the amount of results shown on water elementalists. With that said now to my question.

Water - 10
Energy Storage - 10
Other 8-10
Other 8-10 (only if third ability is 8 then i'd have another ability to level 8)

I wanted to make a water elementalist because I have never seen a RL player use the skills yet. No I haven't played with everyone in the world I'm sure some people do use it. I've already figured out my skills that would be useful to use for primary, I just haven't decided on a secondary job yet. I'm wondering how useful and how much luck someone has had with Water as a main attacking ability PvE and PvP. Is it useful or should I trash it?

*Was thinking for doing Fire and Water for PvE and switch skills based on missions and areas. Some missions especially near Shiverpeaks I know Water damage would suck. Fire would be useful. PvP though I've never tried water elementalist, only seen fire and air.

water is good for slow-down, but air has knockdown, blind, and weakness.... i think this is why you will see mostly air skills used in pvp.

A common build I see is Water Elementalist/Necro. Since many of the Water direct damage spells count as hexes because of their "slowing" property, use Soul Barbs for some added damage.
